OUR BACKGROUND

The Pack Cancer Association of NC State University was established in 2022 and we strive to engage college students in the fight against cancer through education, community, and giving.

The organization makes a sustainable impact by providing educational, professional, and networking opportunities for students with help from partners such as the Duke Cancer Center Raleigh and UNC REX Cancer Center.  Through these, and other, partnerships, WCA helps students by organizing community-based initiatives that aid patients and families through volunteer events and shadowing opportunities. We strive to promote the collaboration of on-campus organizations for growing and cultivating a strong wolfpack community as well as fundraise for national and local no-profits to support the fight against cancer.

By providing shadowing and research opportunities, as well as volunteer experience and lectures from guest speakers, PCA aims to educate students and provide them with the skills to go into the research or medical field following their undergraduate years. We hope to equipt our members with some of the proper knowledge and skills necessary to continue the fight against cancer following their years at NC State University.
